The foundation of the University of Abomey-Calavi (FUAC) is home to a program called UAC Startup Valley.
It is a cluster of innovative companies with high potential started by university graduates in general and UAC in particular, to create decent and sustainable jobs. Its mission can be summed up in three points:

- Disseminate entrepreneurial culture in the academic community;
- Reduce the graduates’ unemployment rate.
